Katarina is two decades of age. Having a past in a dull suburb, her life seems to be already set in stone - until she discovers music. 'Requiem' at the Gothenburg Concert Hall that sends her reeling and opens up a world that is beautiful. She believes that she's to improve her life and get as far away from her ugly reality as possible. However, demonstrates to be a dangerous one, filled with betrayal lies and also a liaison with the conductor Adam that is married. Yet Katarina is able to do anything to gain her new identity.
